MAURICE CAMPS

My name is Maurice Camps and I’m currently working as Art Development Director at Vertigo Games Amsterdam. Ever since I was a little kid, I have been passionate about art and video games. After my studies I started as an environment artist and in the 24+ years that followed I’ve worked on a large variety of projects on console, mobile, PC, AR and VR.

In my work, I thoroughly enjoy bringing out the best in people by leadership and coaching. I seek to energize people, and be energized by both smaller and larger teams, building beautiful immersive worlds together.

In my free time I love the physical and problem-solving challenges of bouldering and climbing. I also have a deep affection for photography and hiking, while exploring new cultures and beautiful landscapes around the world.
